10 Birthday Party Venues Around Seattle For Kids
I’m always envious of the parents who get to plan idyllic summer birthday parties for their kids. My son has a winter birthday, so it’s a delicate balance of planning an indoor party that gets the kids to run off some energy, requires minimal input from parents, and keeps everybody (relatively) dry. And let’s not forget to keep our fingers crossed that the birthday boy doesn’t get RSV on his birthday (2022 🙄)!
Here are 10 party venues for the under-10 crowd that I came across in my planning research this year. The venues run the gamut from energetic running around to science exploration, so there should be something for every kid (and parent)!

Playdate SEA, South Lake Union
We ultimately chose this venue for our son’s birthday party. He’s been to a few parties here and loved them all, so we figured it was a slam dunk. I really liked that kids can play for as long as they want, even after the party room reservation ends. It was extremely easy to book — you can reserve your time, food, and room online without speaking to a human or filling out a form!
